my story
and I want to help you sew a wardrobe that you love, need and will actually wear.
I started this business selling hand sewing kits in 2020 for people to access sewing skills during the pandemic. From there I was asked to use my creative skills and develop my first sewing pattern for Making Magazine (what is now known as the Umbra Lounge Set) and after that pattern making became passion. Since then, I've developed a growing collection of best selling, size inclusive sewing patterns created for people who want a timeless closet with garments that mix, match and build off of one another.
my Mission
My mission is to inspire you to make clothing that can be loved through generations. I want to foster in you a desire to sew with fabrics that feel good for you and are good for the environement at a pace that is practical for your lifestyle. My hope is that my patterns, products and videos will help you build a wardrobe unique and personal to your style so that you will love what you're wearing and will have enjoyed the journey along the way.

If you're interested in sewing at a slower pace, I recommend one of my hand-sewing kits that come with complete instructions and videos to guide you through hand sewing your own garment from start to finish.
If you are interested in sewing, I recommend one of my best selling sewing patterns, and if you're trying to save fabric the zero waste ones are a great start (I do not recommend zero waste designs for beginners).
